Park Avenue Smart Lipo Chicago offers the perfect solution for patients who are traveling from out of town, but wish to have liposuction done at our Chicago office. To take advantage of our unique approach and the exceptionaltalents of our specialists, we have formulated the “fly-in patient” protocol for your convenience.

So far, we have performed plastic surgery for patients from many different locations around the globe. With our convenient location in Chicago, you can fly-in alone or with your loved ones and be at our facility in no time. We have competent staff to guide you through every step of the process, providing you with the best possible care and treatment.  Our team strives to make your experience as relaxed and stress-free as possible, before, during, and after the surgery. Our staff will also assist with each aspect of your fly-in program, from travel arrangements to hotel accommodations to online or over-the-phone consultations.

It can be as simple as three steps:

Step One - Initial Consultation

Patients who wish to proceed with the proposed surgery are invited to set up an appointment for a personal consultation and exam.

The initial consultation will help the surgeon and patient take a decision together on whether SmartLipo is a good option. It helps to determine the future course of action and also to understand how to prepare for the surgery and the various aspects to bear in mind during the recovery period.

Those finding it difficult to travel can arrange for an educational and informative virtual consultation over the Internet with one of our non-physician staff members. The purpose of the virtual consultation is to give you more information about the SmartLipo procedure so that you can decide whether to travel to our Chicago office for an initial in-person consultation with one of our plastic surgeons. In addition, the virtual consultation enables us to obtain certain preliminary information regarding your medical history and medical condition which our plastic surgeons can review subsequent to your virtual consultation but prior to your in-person consultation to assist them in determining your eligibility for SmartLipo treatment. If, after conducting a virtual consultation, you are still interested in obtaining SmartLipo treatment, the next step would be to schedule an in-person consultation with one of our plastic surgeons.

Step Two - Scheduling the Visit and Pre-Surgery Examination

If you decide to proceed with SmartLipo, we will explain about the scheduling options and provide all the needed assistance with post-operative care and hotel arrangements. To secure dates for the surgery, you are required to pay a deposit. You need to make the final payments during the pre-operative visit only.

Shortly after your SmartLipo procedure is scheduled, you will receive a packet by mail containing copies of all consents and useful instructions that need to be followed.  On the first day of your arrival, one of our plastic surgeons will conduct a complete medical examination and give you pre- and post-operative instructions, information regarding consent forms and other relevant details. After we have explained everything and answered all of your questions, you can sign all the consent forms.

Step Three - Surgery and Recovery

SmartLipo will be performed the next day by one of our trained surgeons at our surgical centre. Following the surgery, patients are required to spend at least the first night at our post-operative care facility to ensure optimal recovery and excellent results. It is recommended that you remain in Chicago approximately 7-10 days to ensure a safe recovery.
